About Us
Umthwalume Community Services is a non-profit organisation based in Umnafu, Ward 19. We collaborate with the local community to support families, the elderly, children, and those living with HIV/AIDS. We teach and advise people on HIV/AIDS prevention, healthy eating, and health and safety.
We also aid children and young people from low-income families and orphans by providing back-to-school assistance such as vouchers to help them pay for school fees, uniforms, books, and food. We also help low-income families and people who are unemployed and suffering from poverty and HIV/AIDS. We have a weekly feeding schedule for all community members.

Umthwalume Community Services partners closely with local organisations, businesses, social workers, government agencies, and the local council to deliver high-quality services and assistance to the community. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on funding, grants, fundraisers, donations from local and international businesses, organisations, and community members to keep our services operational.
